Christie's charity collection

This small jewellery collection has been designed and hand-made in our North Wales studio in memory of my lovely niece.

Christie Anna Holt was just 14 years old when she died of Septicaemia on December 23rd 2010. Our family was devastated as we heard how doctors fought to save her but how quickly the disease took hold and took away our Christie.

Christie was a sunny teenager, always joking and teasing my brother Shaun, her step-dad. She adored her baby brother Hugo and had a close group of friends, all growing up together in Trefriw and Llanrwst in North Wales.

Septicaemia is the blood poisoning form of Meningitis and so we are donating 10% of the price of this jewellery collection to Meningitis UK, a charity dedicated to finding a vaccine for all types of Meningitis. Meningitis can kill in under 4 hours. Every week, 6 families lose a loved one to Meningitis. You can find a list of symptoms at www.meningitisuk.org. Knowing the symptoms could save someone’s life.

Christie’s Mum, Leila has faced losing her daughter with diginity and determination to keep Christie’s memory alive. She has set up a Forever Fund; you can donate at

Fourteen years was not long enough......
