kateKate Hamilton-Hunter. Kate began her working life as a seamstress, specialising in bespoke bridal gowns. After four years in college and 5 years teaching Art & Design, a career change was brought about by a discovery of metal. Starting with aluminium, copper and brass, Kate soon discovered a new material to make jewellery from – recycled and reclaimed biscuit tins. Now officially a biscuit tin expert, Kate designs most of the jewellery on this site and makes the Antique range to order, and is developing a gallery range of one-off pieces.

bryonyBryony Carrington (Jewellery Supervisor) from North Wales has experience in designing and making bridal wear and couture bodices. She has been with the company since May 2007 and is now the Jewellery Supervisor, organising all the orders, making lots of jewellery and ordering materials.

cariadCariad Loughlin (Jewellery Maker) from South Wales has a BA General Illustration from Swansea Institute of Higher Education where she specialized in Children’s book illustration. When she joined the company back in October 2007, she didn’t have any experience in working with metal, but she has taken to making the jewellery like a duck to water. Cariad has designed her own range of fabric flower brooches, see our collections list on the Home page.

janJan Clarke joined the team in June 2008, after re-locating from Lancashire where she pursued a successful career in book-keeping and accounts for a prominent manufacturing company. With a finance based employment history, she rules the office with a rod of iron, but likes to indulge her passion for making bridal and carnival wear, knitting and embroidery at the weekends.She also has two poetry books in print and a number of literary irons in the fire and is hoping to continue her accountancy studies at night school later in the year.
